Job Description: |
·
Support existing systems 24x7 and
responsible for administering current Big Data environments. ·
Responsible for managing BigData
Cluster environments and will work with teammates to maintain, optimize,
develop, and integrate working solutions for our big data tech stack ( Spark/
Yarn / HDFS/ HIVE/ Kafka/ ES / Vertica /Flink /Clickhouse ) ·
Troubleshoot and analyze complex production problems related to data,
network file delivery, and server and application issues independently and
provide solutions to recovery ·
Build robust and scalable data
infrastructure (both batch processing and real-time) to support needs from
internal users |

Knowledge,
Skills and Education |
· Bachelors in Computer
Science preferred. · At least 4 years of
experience in Big Data Area. · Strong platform
administration skills with at least 2 years of experience in Hadoop
administration. · Experience with DevOps
methodologies and tools for automating and monitoring · Hands on experience in
big data technologies including Scala or Spark, Hadoop, Hive, HDFS. · Must have expertise
with Hadoop architecture (Ability to set-up a Hadoop cluster from scratch and
maintain, troubleshoot and tune by reviewing logs from various Hadoop
services · Experience in offshore
team collaboration. |
