Key Responsibilities
|
Ø Primary Research / Secondary Research
Ø Extensive secondary research, understanding of basic
terminologies used in
epidemiology like prevalence, incidence, point prevalence, diagnosed and treated population etc.
Ø Knowledge of pricing
data and disease epidemiology databases from where the
information related to healthcare can be gathered.
Ø Ability to search
methodically from a range of publicly available sources
Primary Research
Ø Strong oral and
written communication skills in order to interact effectively with
Industry Experts and Surgeons/ Physicians across the globe and ability to express complex subjects in simple and clear way. Data Forecasting
Ø To develop Capital Equipment and Epidemiology based
forecasting models for
medical devices.
Ø Forecasting of data
considering reimbursement policies, healthcare expenditure
of the Government, advancements in medical technology, events impacting the sales and usage of products. Market Share Analysis
Ø Tracking allocated
market, monitoring key performance indicators such as
company revenues, company growth, competitive scenario, product recalls, advancements in medical technology & market trends
Ø Understanding of companys annual reports, Form 10-K, SEC
filings and investor
presentations.
Ø Other Key
Responsibilities
Ø Managing and
tracking timelines to ensure timely delivery.
Ø Reporting on a
regular basis as regards progress to the Manager/ Team Leads.
Ø Complying with
internal processes and policies including the HR, Finance and IT
departments of the company.
Ø Healthy interaction with peers et al.
Ø Help the team in
answering client queries as and when required.
Ø Perform quality check of deliverables.
Person Specification
Ø Experienced with B.Tech (Biotech, Bio Medical) / B.Pharma
& M.Tech (Bio-tech) or
M.Pharma.or equivalent
Ø Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically,
challenge conclusions and underlying
assumptions
Ø Strong oral and written communication skills in order to
interact effectively with Industry
Experts and Doctors across the globe and ability to express complex subjects in simple and clear way.
Ø Be able to work independently and as part of a team with
professionals at all levels.
Be able to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate.
Ø Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Word and
PowerPoint; basic knowledge of MS
Excel is an advantage
Ø Must be willing to guide, help and train other members
within the team
